4-H Food Drive

LIBERTY, October 5, 2009 - The 4-H youth of Liberty County have selected a much needed Food Drive for our local food pantries as their contribution in the first annual "one day 4-H" program. As part of National 4-H Week, Texas 4-H chose to do a day of community service in the communities which provide their support to the local youth! HELP THEM MAKE THIS FOOD DRIVE A HUGE SUCCESS!

The 4-H'ers will be set up at Brookshire Brothers in Liberty, Dayton and Cleveland From 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, October 10!

In addition, the 4-H Clubs will be "Trick or Treating for Liberty County Food Banks" for canned goods for Halloween, rather than for candy so be prepared with canned goods if they come knocking!

In support of this project all county offices will have a box set up for food collection starting the week of the October 19th.
