Arrest for Possession of Methamphetamine LIBERTY, September 20, 2008 - Officer Frank Longoria of the City of Liberty Police Department noticed a suspicious vehicle driving around town during the curfew and stopped the car to investigate. The vehicle was stopped on Davidage Street near Beaumont Ave.
During the investigation Officer Longoria obtained consent to search the vehicle and found inside were several small plastic bags that tested positive for Methamphetamine along with other drug paraphernalia. In total about 6 grams of Methamphetamine were found packaged for sale in a bag.
The vehicle was occupied three times.
Arrested at the scene was Jason Morgan age 26 of Liberty for an outstanding warrant and Weldon Wilson age 28 of Liberty for possession of Methamphetamine. Both were transported to the Liberty County Jail. Give us your Feedback about this story! |
