Marlow Wayne Reynolds Escaped ROSHARON, September 24, 2008 - On September 24, 2003 Liberty County Sheriff’s Department investigated the death of a man who had been murdered and his body burned in a trash pit north of Kenefick off FM 1008. The dead man was tentatively identified at the time as Leslie Ledford age 36 of Dayton. Marlow Wayne Reynolds age 50 was charged with First Degree Murder in this case and was convicted. Reynolds was serving his time in the State Penitentiary in Rosharon. Only a couple of days before Hurricane Ike, Reynolds escaped prison and according to LCSO Investigators has been seen frequenting a convenience store in Rosharon.
