Petition to Dissolve Hospital District

LIBERTY, July 7, 2008 – According to Robert Rawlinson there is a petition for the dissolution of the Liberty County Hospital District No. 1 available at several locations.

The petition can be signed by anyone over the age of 18 that lives inside the District boundaries.

Rawlinson stated that this petition has nothing to do with closing the privately owned Liberty Dayton Hospital.

Liberty County has always set aside county funds to take care of the health needs of the county’s indigent population and citizens need not be taxed again by the Liberty County Hospital District, according to Rawlinson.

Below are locations where you can sign the petition if you so desire.
