May is Motorcycle Awareness Month

LIBERTY, April 11, 2008 - May is Motorcycle Awareness Month, and the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is encouraging all drivers and riders to recommit to safe driving practices by avoiding distractions and staying focused on other highway users.

The San Jacinto High Rollers Motorcycle Club, Liberty County Chapter a sanctioned AMA Club, will be accepting a proclamation from Steve Stephens, Mayor of Dayton proclaiming May as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month on April 21st at 7pm at City Hall.

In addition to this exciting news, San Jacinto High Rollers Liberty County will also be receiving a proclamation from County Judge Phil Fitzgerald from Liberty County at the courthouse on April 22nd at 9am in Liberty, TX.

All riders and drivers in the area are encouraged to attend and raise the "road awareness" of riders and drivers alike.
