Man Seriously Injured in One Car Crash
MOSS BLUFF, July 5, 2008 - Friday afternoon an Anahuac man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on FM 563 near CR 127 south of FM 770.
According to witnesses the man was driving erratically prior to the accident.
The Moss Bluff and Hull Damietta Fire Departments responded to the scene to assist in the rescue of James Kennedy in his mid twenties of Anahuac from the wreckage of his overturned Chevy Camaro and man the landing zone for Life Flight.
According to DPS Trooper Troy Dyson, the Camaro was traveling north on FM 563 lost control and struck a tree with the driver’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle then rolls over to the right. Kennedy was partially trapped in the vehicle and sustained a broken left leg and other serious injuries. Life Flight landed on FM 563 and flew Kennedy to Houston’s Hermann Hospital for treatment.
