Fatal Accident on SH 146 Mont Belvieu

LIBERTY, December 11, 2008 - On Wednesday at approximately 5:44 PM Mont Belvieu Police Department received a call of a white male walking northbound in the lane of traffic (SH 146) and according to the reportee the white male was not wearing a shirt and appeared to be only wearing boxer shorts. Mont Belvieu Police Department officers responded to the scene and before they could arrive, dispatch received a “911” call advising that a pedestrian had been struck by a motorcycle in the 10,000 blk of SH 146. After officers arrived at the scene they located a white male lying in the ditch on the west side of the roadway and the occupants of the motorcycle were located in the middle of the roadway. Mont Belvieu EMS transported the occupants of the motorcycle to Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Upon further investigation at the scene, the Mont Belvieu Police Department personnel discovered that the white male was only wearing gray pants, black boxer shorts, no shirt and black tennis shoes. No identification was located on the subject. The subject had several tattoos, on his upper back the word “NATIVE” between the shoulder blades and on his right forearm the words “NATIVE AMERICAN” with a dream catcher symbol above the words. The white male is approximately 5’8” in height, approx. 190 lbs, and dark black hair (cut very short). The subject was transported to the Jefferson County Medical Examiners in Beaumont.
