FEMA Disaster Recovery Center to Close
LIBERTY, December 5, 2008 - The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center currently located on North Main Street in Liberty (the old Wal-Mart center) will be ceasing operations at 5:30 pm on Wednesday December 10th.
Anyone wanting to make contact with FEMA at this location, should do so between the hours of 9 am and 5:30 pm. The center is open on Saturday, but closed on Sunday.
December 12th is the deadline to register a claim with FEMA for damages sustained as a result of Hurricane Ike. Anyone that received damage and has not yet registered with FEMA, can register by calling 1-800-621-3362.
