Bond Set at One Million Dollars for Greg Bogany LIVINGSTON, December 27, 2007 – In a hearing held on the morning of December 27, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Judge Darrell Longino revoked Greg Bogany's ten thousand dollar conditional bond for aggravated kidnapping, and handed down a one million dollar conditional bond. Immediately after the hearing, Bogany was escorted by Sheriff’s Deputies back to the Polk County Jail. Bogany was originally arrested by Polk County Sheriff's deputies on December 3 for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault of his girlfriend, Candis Yevette Robinson. Bogany bonded out but violated the terms of his bond. Bogany's bond was revoked and a warrant for his arrest was put out by JP1 Judge Longino. On December 19, Local Texas Ranger, Ron Duff in a joint operation with the Polk County Sheriff's Department Special Response team, caught Bogany and 4 others who were arrested at an Indian Hills subdivision residence. The four others were Edward Allen Dobson, Shawn Steven O'Bannon, Donna Gayle Malnar, and Lou Ann Hicks. Dobson, O'Bannon, Malnar, and Hicks were charged with hindering apprehension/prosecution of a known felon. At time of press, Greg Bogany has not bonded out and has been extradited to Montgomery County where he faces additional charges of Interfering with an emergency call, violation of a protective order, and unlawful restraint.
