Family of Burglary Suspects Apprehended DAYTON, December 26, 2006 - Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home burglary in progress in the 5900 Block of FM 1409 near CR 459 shortly before 6:00 PM on Tuesday. Deputy Jeff Smith arrived on the scene and with the aid of witnesses found three suspects along with the vehicle they were driving. One of the suspects was a white male the other two were female. According to Smith the property owner came home and recognized some of the items in the suspect’s vehicle as belonging to her. During the investigation of the burglary the white male suspect fled the scene on foot crossing FM 1409 and fleeing north into the woods. A brief foot pursuit and search commenced for the fleeing suspect assisted by the Department of Public Safety. The fleeing suspect was identified as James Asbury of Westlake, the husband of one of the female suspects. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
The two female suspects identified as Tammy Boudreaux age 46 and Brandi Lynn Kraemer age 24, (mother and daughter) both of CR 443 in Westlake, were taken into custody, charged with Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
