Three Arrested on CR 429
DAYTON, December 7, 2006 – A Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy transporting a suspect to the jail was nearly rear ended in his patrol vehicle by a red Chevy SUV chasing a red Nissan sedan on CR 429 around 1:00 PM Thursday afternoon.

Apparently the occupants of the vehicle were having a disagreement.
LCSO Deputies took the occupants of both vehicles into custody for motor vehicle violations.
While conducting an inventory of the Red Nissan Sedan among other things, Deputies found a green leafy substance in the plastic bag, 13 Xanax tablets and 36 Soma Tablets in unmarked bottles.

The driver of the SUV identified as Tonya Lynn Jenkins age 34 of Dayton was taken into custody for Reckless Driving and transported to the Liberty County Jail. |

The occupants of the Nissan sedan identified as Leanne Bell Ingram age 27 of Dayton and Joe Arthur Martinez, Jr age 36 of Dayton were both taken into custody on several charges including, possession of an illegal weapon, having a fictitious registration sticker, and possession of a controlled substance. |
