Truck and Trailer Roll Over on US 90 Bridge

LIBERTY, November 7, 2005 – At 9:31 AM on Monday a two vehicle accident occurred in the River Bottom on US 90 at the first bridge west of the Trinity in the eastbound lanes.

According to Officer Peak of the City of Liberty Police Department, a green Dodge dually traveling east made contact with a gray Ford pickup pulling a lowboy trailer. The Ford Pickup and trailer rolled over on the bridge halting eastbound traffic on US 90 for over an hour.

The driver of the Dodge Pickup was identified as Keith Raymond Platt age 34 of Dayton.

The driver of the Ford pickup was transported by City of Liberty Ambulance to Liberty Dayton Community Hospital for treatment.
