Moving Up the Chain AMES, May 23, 2005 As a result of a multi-agency cooperative investigation by the Chamber-Liberty County Narcotics Task Force, DPS Narcotics Service, Liberty Police Department, Dayton Police Department and the Liberty County Pct. 2 Constables Office and the Liberty County Sheriffs Department numerous felony charges have been field against Erwin Eugene Semien age 29 of Raywood, TX. Beginning on Friday May 13, 2005 and ending on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 search warrants were obtained and executed at six different locations throughout Southeast Liberty County under the control and/or owned by Semien including a residence on Tip Top Road in Ames, TX.
Semien was arrested and charged with four counts of unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, one count o possession of Body Armor by a Felon, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Additional Felony charges will be filed against Semien and additional charges are expected to be filed against several other defendants who have engaged in the sale and distribution of controlled substances in conjunction with Mr. Semien. Currently Semien is incarcerated in the Liberty County Jail with bond set at $25,000 dollars on one charge and $5,000 dollars on each additional charge.
