Helicopter Crash UPDATE

HUFFMAN, May 18, 2005 - Four people are hospitalized following a helicopter crash in Northeast Harris County this morning. A spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff`s Department says the chopper went down around 8:25 a.m. at a construction site just north of FM 1960 at Humble-Crosby Rd.

Two passengers were taken from the scene by LifeFlight helicopter. Two others were taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

There are unconfirmed reports that at least two other people on the ground were also injured by debris from the accident.

Still no word on the cause of the crash. Emergency crews remain at the scene.

Huffman is located about 18 miles west of the city of Liberty.
