Four Straight Weeks of Price Decreases
HOUSTON, November 8, 2005 - Within the past
four weeks, retail gasoline prices in Texas have dropped 53 cents a gallon,
according to AAA Texas' Weekend Gas Watch.
In Texas, motorists saw a 15 cents weekly drop to an average of $2.381
a gallon for regular self-serve. The GalvestonTexas City area has
the highest average price on the list at $2.498 a gallon falling
17 cents in a week. Corpus Christi fell 16 cents to the lowest average
on the list at $2.169 a gallon.
Pump prices in Texas and nationwide have continued to drop for four consecutive
weeks as motorists' demand for fuel decreases and inventories of crude
and gasoline increase," said Rose Rougeau, spokesperson for AAA Texas.
"Barring any unforeseen problems, prices should continue to move lower
during the next few weeks."
The national average for regular self-serve gasoline is $2.448 a gallon
that's 12 cents less than last week's average.

Pit
Hams
A Pit
Ham is a natural shaped, old-fashioned ham that gives you
the flavor of a bone-in ham without the bone. Pit Hams are
totally boneless so you can carve throughout the ham with
no bone waste. They are smoked in a net for 8 hours over
hickory hardwood chips. Then the net is removed before the
ham is Cryovac packed and placed in the box. Even though
the pit hams are fully cooked, they are designed to be reheated
before serving to give you optimal flavor. They should be
carved from the large end, across the grain and sliced thin
for optimal flavor.
Pit
hams are available daily from 12 to 18 lbs. in size
