Youth Waterfowl Expo 2003 ANAHUAC, November 21, 2003 - The fourth annual Youth Waterfowl Expo will be held December 6th, 2003 at the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. This FREE event teaches children the importance of wetlands and waterfowl. From 10:00am to 3:00pm, Expo is geared towards children between the ages of nine and 17.
Some of this year's programs include: Waterfowl identification, hunter safety and ethics, retrieving demonstration, wetland ecology, waterfowl banding (hopefully live bird banding demonstration) and more!
According to attendance, all children should receive a prize, including the chance at a free guided hunt on the Anahuac refuge and adjacent hunt club lands. In order to qualify for the free guided hunt raffle, participants will need to arrive fairly early to complete all the programs.
