Champion Lake Public Use Area at Trinity River Refuge Now Open

LIBERTY April 9, 2018 ⎯ The Champion Lake Public Use Area at Trinity River Refuge, located at the end of CR 417 is back open to the public after the recent flooding. Flood waters are still high in many areas so most of the Trinity River Refuge trails on all our properties are either still under water or very muddy. Please be careful of debris, floating fire ants, or snakes that might be displaced at this time.

Refuge Manager
